About Me

As an Associate California Marriage and Family Therapist, I am qualified to work with people of all ages regarding concerns around important relationships, life changes, stress, anxiety, trauma, and depression. In a world facing many daunting epidemics, I hope to support people to feel heard, understood, capable, and connected enough to face the world again with more confidence, kindness, and hope. For the past ten years, I have been able to work internationally within schools, hospitals, and residential mental health settings. No matter where you go in the world, life is complicated, challenging, and at times painful, but we don't have to make sense of it all on our own. I believe that a lot of healing can happen through connecting with dependable others through the good and hard parts of life.

On a more personal note, I am originally from California, and was raised Greek-American. Growing up bicultural, I have a particular openness and respect for the diversity of the human experience, and enjoy learning about various cultures through food, the arts, reading, movies, and travel. As an adult, I have been able to pursue my personal interests while also working in the field of psychology, in places such as Thailand, Australia, Scotland, England, and of course the United States. Through it all, I always found that there was a new way to approach healing and a new way to understand hurt, and such is the open mindedness and creativity that I hope to bring into my counseling practice.
